Introduction

Glass is to be supplied for on-site glazing.

We suggest glazing is carried out after fixing window to structure.

Glazing Method

Fully open window.

On actuator units it is necessary to disconnect the handle.

Step 1

For D&H actuator operated windows the actuator will need to be removed. To do this you will need to remove plastic end caps, disconnect cable & undo screws top & bottom. (Detail 1)

Step 5

After glazing it may be necessary to re-level and square the head and cill rails. To do this apply pressure at centre points of rails as indicated on Detail 6.

Step 6

Check and seal frame corners at junctions of head, cill and side rails with small joint sealant.

Upon first operation of the Louvre actuator, 24vDC should be applied to the brown core in the cable to fully open the blades to their furthest extent. The actuator has an internal limit switch which will activate at this point. 24vDC should then be reversed to the white core in the cable to fully close the blades.

The Louvre actuator is now calibrated and ready to operate.
